Rebecca:
It's the start of week 6. "Morning sickness" started yesterday, but morning sickness is a huge understatement. It's more like 24/7 nausea that gets worse as the day goes on. At least I won't have to worry about gaining weight...I can only force myself to eat one meal a day. Right now most food, the smell of food, or thought of food makes me gag. I've found french fries always sound good though. The occasional rice cake ties me over for the other meals. I know I need to be drinking a lot of water, but that makes me sicker. Zach ran out today and got 5 gallons of different flavored Gatorades. Hopefully that'll be a bit easier to drink.
Zach:
I've determined that I'm going to be a very proud father. While I was walking around Wal-Mart I noticed a lot of dads that ignore their kids and pretend as much as possible that they don't exist. I realized that I'm going to wanna show off my child as much as possible. So, that's my latest thought. My current and upcoming thought: "What food sounds good to Rebecca in 5 mins?"

And Zach, even though I've never met you, I know that you will be a great dad, because of the loving way you take care of Rebecca!

It'll be interesting to see the baby's gender w/ boys dominating Zach's side & girls on Rebecca's :) I'm not sure if this is an old wives tale but they do say that you're much sicker w/ girls. I've not had any girls so I wouldn't know first-hand. But I'm pretty sick w/ my boys from week 6 till between weeks 12&16. Then the amazing 2nd trimester starts, which is a lot of fun!!! =0)
